Rahab Is Spared

BUT Joshua had said to the two men who had spied for him: "Go into Rahab's house and bring out the woman and all her family, as you promised her."

And the young men who had served as spies went in and brought out Rahab and her father and her mother and her brothers and all their possessions.

They brought out all her family
and left them outside the city at the camp of the Israelites.
Then they burned the city and all that was in it,
except for the silver and gold and the vessels of brass and iron,
which they put into the treasury of the house of the lord.

And Joshua saved Rahab's life and her father's household and all that she had,
and she went to live in Israel.
He did this because she had hidden the messengers he had sent to spy on the
city of Jericho.
