Jothams Parable Is Fulfilled

THEN Jotham ran away and he went to live in Beer, for fear of his brother Abimelech.

After three years Abimelech quarrelled with the men of Shechem who had raised him to power,and Abimelech destroyed them.
But as he was besieging a tower within the city of Thebez,
a woman cast a millstone down on his head.

Then Abimelech called his armour-bearer and said to him:
"Draw your sword and kill me, so that nobody can say that I was slain by a woman."

Thus was Jotham's parable fulfilled.
